A man enjoying the Sunderland Airshow 2012.

One of my favourite photographs. A couple sitting together on the steps to The Custom House government building in Dublin, Ireland. I took this at about 10am so I really don’t know if they were starting early or still going from the previous night.

Palma, Majorca. I saw this shot while walking along the beach looking for somewhere to get dinner and didn’t have my camera so had to run back to the hotel to get it. I don’t leave my camera in the hotel anymore.

Definitely the best way to get to the top of Parc de Montjuïc when it’s 35°C.

The top of Montjuïc Castle. Barcelona, Spain.

This is as close as I would recommend getting to the Sagrada Família in Barcelona. Any closer and you have to deal with the tourists, building work, crazy traffic and bad weather.

Taking pictures of the city from the top of Rundetårn (Round Tower), Copenhagen.

Two riders compete in Rollapaluza. A 20 second sprint over 500 meters on stationary bikes.

Getting ready to race in Rollapaluza.

One of the many Ghats in Varanasi, India. Taken just after the sun rose over the Ganges on a morning boat ride.

A man waiting on his boat to take tourists out on the Ganges to watch the sun rise over Varanasi, India.

Dinner entertainment at the hotel just outside Ranthambore National Park, India. Music, dancing and fire breathing.

One of my favourite things about India is meeting the extremely friendly local people. Some want their photo taken with you and love to see themselves on the back of your digital camera. This guy and a few of his friends begged me to take their pictures while they were on their way to play cricket in the Taj Mahal Gardens.
