One very cold December night I decided to go and try some night photography without a tripod, taking advantage of a fast lens and the excellent high ISO performance of my 5D. I like this shot but think the slushy snow on the ground is distracting.

One of my favourite photographs. A couple sitting together on the steps to The Custom House government building in Dublin, Ireland. I took this at about 10am so I really don’t know if they were starting early or still going from the previous night.
One of my favourite things about India is meeting the extremely friendly local people. Some want their photo taken with you and love to see themselves on the back of your digital camera. This guy and a few of his friends begged me to take their pictures while they were on their way to play cricket in the Taj Mahal Gardens.
